The Moorlands has been owned and run by the Ashurst family since 1986. Now owned by the third generation, Grandson Peter of Harold and Betty Ashurst.
It is the perfect location in the North West of England to visit Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool. With its excellent transport links locally it is enjoyed by many as their base to visit local areas.The Pennine Bridleway passes within 400 meters of the park.
It is a walker’s paradise with the Pennine way close by, and the moors on your doorstep; offering outstanding views from every direction.
The Moorlands provides bespoke homes for couples or individuals over 55. Our residents enjoy the sense of community by living with like minded individuals who enjoy the stunning scenery, peaceful atmosphere and opportunity to enjoy the local Saddleworth countryside at their leisure.
